Expected outcome of the measurements to be done
To study the metal-insulator-metal structure of fabricated RRAM cells, IV charctersistics, and thickness of each layer. The structural, compositional, and morphological aspects of RRAM cells can be investigated using TEM technique. To study electrical characteristics using semiconductor analyzer. AFM technique to get high-resolution surface topography and electrical information to understand the nanoscale features and mechanisms underlying RRAM. XRD to understand the phase and grain size of resistive layer in RRAM. RBS technique for thickness of layer and percentage composition of elements.
Details of the Samples to be used
TaOx, and TiO2 based Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM) cells with ITO as bottom electrode and Ag as top electrode.
