Low Frequency Oscilloscope
The phoenix box provides Analog Input channels that
can be digitized and read by the software. An oscilloscope software can
read the analog inputs and plot on the screen. The A/D converter
inputs must be from 0 to 5V. The built-in waveform generator
gives sine, triangular and square wave that swings from -5V to 5V. To
test the ADC connect the output of the triangular wave to the first ADC
through the (x+5)/2 amplifier. The amplifier converts the -5V to +5V
signal to 0 to 5V. A sample plot is shown below and the source
and makefile are also given.
